Kicking off on our second to last day of our escapade, team Cycling4aCure got many kind words of motivation from our temporary neighbors at the local RV park. With our final destination nearing closer and closer we were thrilled to have finally crossed into Virginia and be that much closer to our finish. Our ride got a little more exciting when we got approached on the side of the road by an interviewer from Tidewater News who heard out our cause and took an interest in our story. Back on the road, our ride had a small hiccup when we realized that our route had us going under an underpass that we weren’t able to clear with our trailer. With the help of some locals we were able to navigate the trailer backwards down the narrow road so we could get out. Returning once again to the road, the team sprung into pit crew mode when Patrick got his 10th flat tire on his bike for the trip. With all the wheels back on to pavement, we continued on to Chesapeake, VA where Chesapeake Campground RV Park was kind enough to give us a place to rest for the night as we prepared for the final leg of our journey.
