Overview
     Cindy’s Hope Chest is a tax-exempt, 501(c)-3 non-profit based out of Indian Trails, North Carolina.  Cindy’s Hope Chest’s mission is to support women battling breast cancer emotionally and financially.  Their goal is to provide ways to educate, support, and encourage women while undergoing treatments. Cindy Summers, founder and executive director of Cindy’s Hope Chest was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2008. Through Cindy’s cancer treatments, she always managed to push on to keep fighting. Two years ago, Cindy was inspired to start “Cindy’s Hope Chest” an organization that focuses on helping other women who are effected by cancer and need the motivation and support for this difficult time in their life. Cindy rescues those seeking a shoulder to cry on. With the help and support of her husband, Mike Summers, marketing director of Cindy’s Hope Chest, Cindy pushed on through chemo treatment after chemo treatment while also taking care of their three beautiful daughters. As many of you may know, taking care of children is a job in itself. Taking care of your children while also undergoing chemo and radiation treatments had to have been that much more difficult. Cindy is the true figure of someone who does not give up, an individual that pushes on in life’s toughest situations.

Services offered by Cindy’s Hope Chest
    Cindy’s Hope Chest not only works with other women in motivating them through chemo and radiation treatments, Cindy’ Hope Chest also offers services for those unable to perform life’s daily tasks due to the effects of chemo and radiation. If you need someone to take care of your children, Cindy has it covered.  Need a hairstylist? Cindy’s got that covered also.
